These terms govern your purchase and use of the online course The Dragon Egg Method, sold through this site. By buying the course you agree to them. Please read them before you pay.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean The Cocoa Studio; "you" means the person buying the course.
The Dragon Egg Method is a digital course delivered online. It consists of video lessons and material teaching you how to make a hand-painted chocolate dragon egg that cracks open into an edible crystal geode, together with the bonus materials described on the sales page.
No physical product is shipped to you. Ingredients and equipment such as chocolate, moulds, edible metallic dusts and sugar are not included and are bought separately by you.
After your payment is confirmed, we send your access details to the email address you entered at checkout. Please make sure that address is correct and that you check your spam folder. If nothing has arrived, email us and we will sort it out.
Access to the course is granted to you personally, and for as long as we operate the course.
Our 30-day money-back guarantee. If the course is not for you, email SUPPORT_EMAIL_TBD within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to return anything. We aim to process refunds within 24 hours and to the original payment method.
Your statutory right of withdrawal. Separately from our guarantee, consumer law in many countries gives you the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions in that law. Our 30-day guarantee is longer and more generous, so in practice you may simply use the guarantee above. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.
We promise to give you the course as described on the sales page, and to help you if something is not working.
We cannot promise a particular result. Working with chocolate is a skill, and how your egg turns out depends on your own practice, ingredients and patience. We make no guarantee of any specific outcome, income, or other result from taking this course. If you are not happy with what you get, use the guarantee in section 5. That is what it is for.
The course, its videos, images and written materials belong to us and are protected by copyright.
You may use them for your own personal learning. You may not copy, share, resell, publish, or redistribute the material, give your access to anyone else, or use it to teach a course of your own.
Eggs you make while following the course are entirely yours. You may keep them, give them away, or sell them. If you sell food you make, you are responsible for meeting the food-business, labelling and allergen rules that apply where you live.
If you share your access or distribute the material, we may withdraw your access without a refund.
The course involves melted chocolate, hot sugar syrup, boiling water and sharp tools. Sugar syrup reaches temperatures well above boiling water and causes serious burns on contact. You are responsible for working safely, for supervising any children present, and for following the instructions on the products and equipment you buy.
You are also responsible for knowing what you are serving. Chocolate, nuts, dairy and other ingredients are common allergens, and cocoa is toxic to dogs and cats. We are not responsible for injury, illness or damage arising from how you handle ingredients or equipment, or from what you choose to serve to others.
We provide the course as described, but we cannot promise the website or the course platform will always be available or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the course is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may improve or update the course content over time; updates are included at no extra cost. We may also update these terms, in which case the new version is posted here with a new date. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force on the day you bought.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
